Brian Flynn

Transcend Records' recording artist Brian Flynn has been complimented as being one of the most phenomenal guitarists on the scene. Recognition like that, along with his entire band's ability to play a vast array of music, has allowed them to include performances with the biggest names in today's music industry in their long list of accomplishments. The band, with lead guitarist Flynn, has shared the stage with rock icons such as Sammy Hagar, Carlos Santana, The Guess Who, The Romantics, Jeff Beck, Ralph Dinosaur and The Fabulous Volcanoes, Loverboy, Molly Hatchet and ZZ Top. Their blues exposure includes the likes of Gatemouth Brown, Son Seals, Delbert McClinton, Buddy Guy, Gregg Allman, Albert Collins, Lonnie Mack, Eddie "The Chief" Clearwater, Dave Hole and the incomparable Stevie Ray Vaughan. They've funked it up with James Brown, Bo Diddley and reggae artists Big Mountain and Common Sense. They have gotten spicy with Latino artists Poncho Sanchez and Jose Rossy of Puerto Rico and Cuba's own "Piel Canela", Grupo Vida. They also have shared the stage with such country artists as the late Waylon Jennings, Chris Ledoux, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, Butch Hancock and The Dirt Band.
Brian and his band consider their five years spent as the resident band at Sammy Hagar's world famous Cabo Wabo Cantina in steamy Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, one of their greatest accomplishments. In a place of chaotic reveling, the band perfected its musical skills as a group (and as individuals), all the while accumulating rave reviews from around the world.
Recently, the band returned to Brian's home state of Colorado to add the final touches to their upcoming CD on Transcend Records and due to the death of his brother David. The new album, "The Sparrow ", is dedicated to Brian's greatest fan, Mr. David Michael Flynn. Dave's spirit lives on in the music of the Brian Flynn Band. We love you and miss you kid brother!!!!!
